Art Runyan, Linda Lazelle, George & Linda Johnson and Rod Mitchell for
handing out white canes to customers at Jim Bob's Chuck Wagon in McKenna on
Thursday, May 2nd from 10 AM to 7 PM.
We all agree -- Jim Bob's staff give great service and the food is tasty.
They made us feel very welcome being there. It was enjoyable promoting Rainier
Lions to the friendly customers. If you haven't eaten there -- we can highly
recommend giving it a try.
We will be receiving our donation from the Restaurant within a
few days.

MAY 4: Thank you to the new Lions Bud & Julia Green
and Terri & Bill Rendahl, President George Johnson and Rainier High School
student Tori Skinner for handing out white canes to customers at the Rainier
Texaco on Saturday, May 4th from 10 AM to 3:45 PM. Rich & Kelly Hill and
family stopped by also. The weather was the best to be working outdoors! The
Lions were excited to tell customers their white cane donations support projects
to restore sight and hearing. Bud Green enthusiastically gave white canes to
customers at the gas pumps who didn't need to go into the store -- this
definitely helped donations for the day.
We will give all of our members a financial update when Jim Bob's gives their donation. George set up for white canes both mornings.
With everyone having projects of your own, work, family, etc., it is so
much appreciated that you have taken time once again to make sure the Rainier
Lions fundraiser was adequately staffed and successful. It is wonderful working
with all of you. Thank You!
