Santa came to Rainier last night!

Rainier Christmas Tree Lighting Last Night

A huge crowd was waiting in the Rainier City Hall parking lot to see the lighting of the city Christmas Tree and sing Christmas Carols - as the children patiently waited for Santa Claus to arrive.  Shortly after the Christmas Tree lights came on - we heard the fire truck sirens.  We saw the fire truck with it's flashing lights turn off of Highway 507 and head to Rainier.  Santa was riding shotgun in the Yelm fire truck - as the fireman delivered Santa Claus to the excited children of Rainier.
The children lined up inside of city hall and patiently waited to sit on his lap,  receive a stuffed animal from him and get their pictures taken.  Cookies, little cuties and beverages were served to everyone - as the children patiently waited in line for their turn with Santa Claus.

This was the most amazing Santa Claus.  There were children of all ages waiting in line.  Not one child - or baby - cried.  They were all smiling and very excited to see Santa.  Thank you, Santa, for your kindness and consideration.  Your patience and love was mirrored by all of the children.

A special thank you goes out to all of the parents of the children who attended.

Thank you Randy, Kathy & The City Hall Staff!
