Induction/Initiation on June 25, 2012

The Rainier Lions Club initiated 3 new members, Ronald Lind, Brenda Flaherty & Chris Fanton.  We also inducted our officers for the year 2012 - 2013.  Jim Labelle presided over the induction/initiations.  Evan Burnett made a nice "outgoing King Lion" speach and incoming King Lion, George Johnson followed up with a speach.  All in allk it was a very nice meeting.

Several of our members received awards.  Bernice & Chris Beck, Art & Charlotte Runyan, Larry Warner, Shirley Gibson, Evan Burnett, Linda Lazelle, Rodney Mitchell, Beverly Jolley, George & Linda Johnson, Gene Cinchovich & Charlene Logan.

We were served pizza, salad and strawberry shortcake.  We had several guests attend.  Frank & Shelia Pierce attended.  Frank promoted the following Tacoma Southeast Lions Clubs events:
