On June 5 an iPAD (with headphones) was presented to a Richardson ISD student by her vision teacher, Laura Lemaster. Lemaster, also a member of the Dallas White Rock Lions Club, and a volunteer with Dallas Association for the Blind, partnered ...with the Richardson Host and Richardson Midday Lions Clubs to purchase and present the device to the student, who will now be able to access print materials and textbooks by hearing them at home. This will have a very positive impact on this child's education as she begins to learn Braille.
