Lions Children First
For more than 45 years, “International Literacy Day” has been observed on September 8th to bring attention to the importance of literacy. To celebrate this important occasion, the Grand Cayman Lions Club spent the day at the George Town Primary School. Lions read stories aloud to the children, who then took turns reading to Lions. By engaging the students, the Grand Cayman Lions encouraged them to pick up books and read to each other.
