Photo of the Week: New Zealand Lions Club Book Sale is a Best Seller

Our Lions clubs host an array of fundraisers each year, such as a hot air balloon festival in Texas or a rain barrel sale in Maryland. These fundraisers support our communities, because we give 100 percent of the money we raise to the designated causes. We found this week’s photo at The Press.
The annual Lions fundraiser book sale in New Zealand featured thousands of volumes, as well as games and toys, all priced at $1 to $3. A member of the Christchurch City Breakfast Lions Club estimates about 15,000 books were donated to the sale.
