Directors Descend on NWLERC

The anticipation of having all 8 of our Directors attend our annual meeting came from their desire to work with our executive committee to decide how to best serve their communities’ needs, and how it will tie into our program.
This is the first time in our eight years of existence that a 4-hour combined business meeting and long-range planning session occurred. With Lion Sharon Sikes facilitating, we were able to pull together a foundation from which to go forward. Honest insights led to a better understanding of how to engage our Eastern Washington Lions Clubs.
What is the plan? It’s a work in progress. The first step is to establish goals for each of the Directors, and these are best done with a realistic knowledge of what each District is capable of doing. Our Directors know their clubs, so who better to tell the executive committee what we can expect from them?
