We were driving to the Rainier Senior Center to have lunch, when we caught the city doing something good today!!!! The Public Works crew had put the "WELCOME TO RAINIER" signs back and were painting the sign holders!!! The signs and sign holders look beautiful!!!! Linda
The “Welcome to Rainier” signs were taken down this Spring because of excess
weathering. The general consensus was that they were way beyond being salvaged
and could not be put back up.
Driving into town this morning, I noticed Ron and his public works crew
were putting the signs back up. The city did it, the mayor, council, public
works and city hall staff all managed somehow to bring those signs back to life
and they look great. A job very well done. Make sure you thank them all when
traveling through town.
