We are having a Dessert Competition between our zone clubs, 1,
2, 3, 4, 5 & 6. Below are the categories for desserts. Come on
ladies and gentlemen, lets get those dessert recipes out and have a real
contest!
The Contest and Awards is announcing an exciting DESSERT competition.
- Dessert
Categories include PIE, CAKE, Cheese Cake, and Cookies
- A Lion
may enter only one dessert item per category.
- We are
asking your club to submit several entries as the
desserts are NOT only for competition but also will be used for the dessert for
the family dinner.
Please let Lion Don Becker know by March 23 on how many
entries we can expect from your club.
Zone C , I have tasted many of your dessert and they are awesome. We have
8 clubs in our zone. Multiply that by several entries and a contest between
clubs we will have. Go zone C6! Yum Yum Yum! Jim and I will be entering so
everyone lets do this together!
Another item the District Governor is asking for is 5 to 20 or more people
from each club at our April Spring Conference. Come members, bring your friends
and neighbors and yes, even children. Grandparents, this is a great time to
bring the grandchildren. Children are encouraged to come and join the fun and
meet other children to start forming friendships as our District Governor Dave
says "these friendships last a lifetime".
A new flyer will be out shortly with the agenda and registration which I
will get to you. There are two great entertainers coming, one is a comedian and
the other a highly motivated speaker which should keep us on our toes.
Lets go Zone C6! Lets blow by the other zones and win the dessert contest
along with bring the most Lions, friends and children.
