Update on Coins for Kids Collections

Support our community playground drive:

COINS for KIDS

LETS MAKE THIS A 100% COMMUNITY PROJECT

Just in case your not aware Faith Boesch , a student at Rainier Elementary School has started a campaign  to raise $36,000 to build a much needed expansion  of the existing play area at our elementary school.  The full story is in the Nisqually Valley News dated Oct. 5th.  Her mother Ida is assisting her in her efforts  by writing for grants .  In two weeks almost $1000 has been donated by student bringing change to school.

It’s would be great if our community stood beside our students and Faith with it’s support.  Donation jars have been placed in area businesses for donations or you can send a check to the Elementary School at PO Box 98 , Rainier Wa. Please include a notation “for playground fund “.

For any additional information please contact Ida Boesch at 360-446-6034

We received the following email from Ida - updating us on the coins that have been collected from the school.  Ida will start collecting coins from the local businesses this week, too.

Good Morning George & Linda,

I wanted to give you an update on the coin drive at the Elementary.  After 3 weeks we are at $923.74.  I would say the kids are excited about a new playground.  Grandparents day is this Friday at the Elementary, so the kids are making posters about the coin drive to let the grandparents know.

I will check the coin jars for the businesses this week.  Thanks for all your help.
