The Rainier Lions Club received the The Phoenix Rising School Newsletter today in our email box. They shared information about many interesting activities that their students are working on. They have one request for a donation. Please read below:
Solar Batteries
Throughout this year the 5+6 grades have been working
diligently on building a Solar Trailer. This is a wheeled device that students
can pull all around the campus for AC electricity from the sun. It is also a
demonstration of how photo-voltaic systems, used
all over the world, work as a renewable
energy.
We are on the home stretch and need a donation of
two AMG type solar batteries or $500 to purchase them. If you can help please
contact Neil at the Phoenix Rising School. Thank You from the Science
