Our seniors are working their fingers to the bone getting ready for our Christmas Bazaar! Knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, woodworking and baking - just for you!  Come to our Bazaar and check out the goodies we've been creating for Christmas!

The Rainier Senior Center is serving:

Rainier Senior Center Holiday Spirit!

George & I went to the Rainier Senior Center for lunch today.  Bob Carby & Elaine Raybon made Chicken Corn Chowder & biscuits.  They used Rosemary Sander's chowder recipe.  It was great!   Today's menu was:  Salad, Corn & Chicken Chowder, Biscuits, Cheese Cake

Coffee/Juice.

The senior center serves lunch on Mondays & Wednesdays at 12:00 sharp.  The cost is $2.50 per person - for seniors over 55 years of age.  The Rainier Senior Center serves between 25 - 40 lunches, depending upon how many people show up.

Senior Center Christmas Bazaar & Food Drive

The Senior Center is having their Christmas Bazaar November 8 & 9th.  ALL Donations are appreciated! Please bring your donations to the Senior Center on Monday or Wednesday!

 Thank you!

The Senior Center, in Rainier, is getting low on non-perishable foods.  They are having a 

food drive at Walmart - out in front of the main doors by the grocery section - in Yelm, WA
on November 3rd from about 10 AM - 3 PM.

The upcoming Rainier Lions Club activity is a fundraiser for Fuji Apples.  They're selling 40# boxes of top quality Fuji Apples for $30.00.  The apples will be delivered the second or third Saturday in October.
